What a beautiful lodge right by the Mara River. Built right on the banks of the river where every part of the small lodge gets the mighty Mara River view. Be ready for some hippo serenade for lunch on the deck or candlelight dinner under canvas close to the fire place or during your wake-up call in the room.

Each of the rooms are large under canvas and the best part is the view of course. From the deck of your room, you can sit and enjoy the sounds of the Mara while taking a siesta or enjoying a book to read. The bathrooms are connected or close by with 24-hour solar heated water and if you are feeling like indulging, take a bath with a view. There is a lovely Family Room where two rooms are close by [with each having their own bathroom] and connected by a lovely seating area where you can play games, etc.

Lunch [weather permitting] is under the tree and dinner if warm can be here as well or inside the tent to keep you warm as Mara does then to get rather cold in the evenings. Warm off by the fire place as well where you will enjoy pre-dinner drinks and appertizer. Dining is a family affair and be ready to for a lovely feast.

When staying in Alex Walker Camps is that you have your own private vehicle and you get to go off-roading since you are in a private area called Mara North Conservancy.
