Tarangire National Park :

- Walking Safari at Tarangire's Oliver's Camp
Oliver's Camp offers the unique opportunity to leave the vehicle behind and walk with its wildlife. Walking Safaris are guided by experienced walking guides and an armed ranger accompanies the walks. Guests learn about nature, wildlife behavior and animal tracks. Although animals are usually spotted, the goal is not to get as close as possible to the wildlife, but rather to observe their undisturbed behavior. Walking can best be done in the morning. Walks longer than half a day are available upon request.
- Fly Camping at Oliver's Camp
One (or more) nights of private fly camping with animal sounds all around, is an unforgettable for adventurous safari guests. Fly camping tents are made of thick mosquito mash so that stars can be seen from the bed. Fly camping is adventure, not luxury: fly camping tents are lightweight, with an outside short-drop toilet and shower cubicle. Enjoy the African skies under canvas.

Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area:

- Hiking in Ngorongoro Highland
Although Tanzania has gained a reputation in the global safari market for vehicle based safaris that ferry guests from lodge to lodge, there are huge areas of the country that lend themselves to exciting and unique foot based adventures. Time spent on foot in the bush provides an important contrast to the perspective that you gain when riding in the vehicle and observing the bigger animals. Birds, plants and insects suddenly draw attention to themselves, and the minutiae or life is revealed. A truly unique experience!
Walking can be done for 1/2 day to 5 days. From Olmoti and Empakaai Crater, the breeding ground for the lovely pink flamingoes (1 day) to breathtaking Lake Natron and Gol Mountains (5 days). Longer hikes can be combined with Private Luxury Mobile Camping.
